Advice and Guidance units are suitable for people who work in areas where they are advising and guiding others - people who:
- can influence what happens at work.
- mentor others and have the ability to ask the right questions and suggest ways in which things could be improved
- work in training, counselling, financial advising, advice centres or in any industry where you may need to offer advice & guidance
Please note: Individual units from any SVQ qualification can be undertaken separately.

3 Mandatory Units:
- AG2 - Support clients to make use of the service
- AG4 - Interact with clients using a range of media
- Customer Service Unit 6 - Develop personal performance through delivering customer service
Plus 3 Optional Units from:
- AG13 - Enable clients to access referral opportunities
- AG21 - Provide and maintain information materials for use in the service
- Support customer service improvements
- Promote additional products or services to customers
- Process customer service information
- Health & Social Care Unit 240 - Contribute to the identification of the risk of danger to individuals and others
- Health & Social Care Unit 241 - Contribute to the effectiveness of teams
- Health & Social Care Unit 242 - Receive and pass on messages and information
